PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution estimation device, a distribution estimation method, and a distribution estimation program with which it is possible to estimate distribution while taking the dispersion of elements into account.SOLUTION: When extracting, from a vector value matrix X of I×J representing the degree of association with an individual piece i and an object j and having, as an element, a vector xconsisting of an element xconforming to log-normal distribution having an average parameter μand a dispersion parameter, a first feature matrix A having an element aof non-negative value indicating that the individual piece i belongs to a cluster r and a second feature matrix B having an element bof non-negative value indicating that the object j belongs to a cluster r, estimation is made of the first feature matrix A and the second feature matrix B in such a way that an objective function represented using the logarithmic value of each element xof each vector xof the vector value matrix X, the first feature matrix A, the second feature matrix B, and the dispersion parameter is optimized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
