PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing on an artificial ground a green space which becomes a scenery of an almost natural grove, a natural woods or a shrine woods in a city, or a village forest on the artificial ground.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of planning a green space construction for planning a green space fit for a construction area by disposing plants including tall trees forming a tall-tree layer and a low-rise plants forming a grove-floor layer on an artificial ground formed on an artificial skeleton. The artificial ground is set in a contoured undulation on which plants corresponding to the environment of a construction area are provided. The tall trees set a tall tree unit where a typification is introduced on the basis of kinds of trees and postures of trees, and low-rise plants set a grove-floor zone where a typification is introduced on the basis of sunshine conditions and earth moisture conditions. A layout is set in a combination of the tall tree units and the grove-floor zones on the basis of a standpoint of aesthetic property and persistence.
