PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a text cross-reference device capable of reducing user's editing workload, a text cross-reference method, and a program.SOLUTION: A text cross-reference device compares the number of sentence element segments specified on the basis of voice waveform data with the number of sentence element texts specified on the basis of text data, and, when the number of the sentence element segments does not match with the number of the sentence element texts, makes the number of the sentence element segments and the number of the sentence element texts match with each other by performing at least one of a separation and a division of the sentence element texts and cross-references the sentence element segments with the sentence element texts, from the beginning of a sentence in a time sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
