To provide a positive-electrode active material complex for a lithium ion secondary battery or a positive-electrode active material complex for a sodium ion secondary battery which can effectively improve high-temperature cycle characteristics when the complex is used as a positive-electrode material for the lithium ion secondary battery or for the sodium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: A positive-electrode active material complex is formed by complexing lithium complex oxide particles with specific lithium system polyanion particles (B) in surfaces and inner voids of lithium complex oxide secondary particles (A) constituted of one or more lithium complex oxide particles represented by the following formula (I): LiNiCoMnMO(I) or the following formula (II): LiNiCoAlMO(II), where a mass ratio (A):(B) of the content of the lithium complex oxide secondary particles (A) and the content of the lithium system polyanion particles (B) is 95:5 to 50:50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
