PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure on a normal task or normal program from propagating to a safety task by active program operation of normal task on an OS.SOLUTION: Respective tasks are classified into either one of safety task or normal task. Each API (application programming interface) processing section identifies the type of the program to which a calling task intends to access to operate the same. When the calling task is a safety task, a requested program is executed; and when not safety task, a schedule is made to execute the requested program when a waiting queue in a program is available.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
