PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control machine and a traffic signal control method that causes no contradiction in display order of signal colors even in a case of switching to indications different from a plurality of indications whose display order is previously determined.SOLUTION: A traffic signal control machine comprises: a storage unit storing one or plurality of specific indications composed of a plurality of steps of traffic signal colors such that display order of a plurality of indications indicating flow passages given passing right at an intersection with a blue sign, and composed of a plurality of steps of traffic signal colors such that passing right different from the plurality of indications is given; a display determination unit which determines whether a specific indication can be displayed right after an arbitrary indication when an arbitrary indication being displayed among the plurality of indications is switched to one or a necessary specific indication among the plurality of specific indications stored in the storage part; and a switching unit which switches the arbitrary indication to the specific indication when it is determined that the display is possible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
