New heterocyclic aromatic compounds are provided that are useful in stimulating endogenous production or growth hormone release,these compounds having the general structure of the chemical type (I) where R1, R1',R2, R3, R4, Xa, Y,G,and n are described as to now. The compounds currently provided are useful in treating obesity,osteoporosis (improving bone density) and improving muscle mass and muscle strength.
