The invention relates to the field of polymer processing, more precisely to research and optimization of the molding modes of polymer composite materials (PCM), manufactured according to the technology of the type RTM (ResinToolMolding), LRI (LiquidResinInfusion), RFI (ResinFilmInfusion), more specifically to research impregnation of a fabric sample, previously a measuring cell of the installation (stand) laid in a closed cavity for studying the kinetics of impregnation of tissues of various structures and chemical nature in the modes of wetting and filtration. The task is to create an installation for studying the kinetics of impregnation of tissue samples of various weaves with liquid polymer binders under different injection pressure conditions of the binder. The installation for studies of the kinetics of impregnation of tissue samples with liquid polymer binders consists of a reservoir with a liquid binder, a device for impregnating a filler with a binder, a compressor for creating injection pressure when applying a binder. In addition, a measuring cell for the sample of the test tissue between the front transparent capillary tube and the trap for excess binder is installed in the device for impregnating the filler with a binder. The measuring cell is a construction of two rectangular metal plates of the matrix and a punch with a fluoroplastic lining with a sealed flat rectangular gap between them to accommodate a woven sample in it with the possibility of external compression by the punch; openings for entering the liquid polymer binder into the sealed slot of the cell and removing its excess are located on the opposite sides of the plates and fitted with fittings for connecting external tubes. It is also possible to control the width of the front of the binder by changing the location of the sealing elements along the periphery of the tissue sample, which guide the binder into the sample. The design of the measuring cell provides for the possibility of heating and creating additional pressure in the process of curing the polymer composite sample, and the fittings used for supplying and discharging the binder should work as two-way valves blocking the flow of the binder. The operation of the cell is simplified when using fluoroplastic, since the inert surface of the fluoroplastic greatly facilitates its repressing after the sample of the polymer composite is cured. The installation can also be optionally equipped with additional devices of various kinds of controlled effects on the binder and filler, namely temperature, ultrasound, and other physical factors that significantly affect the processes.
