Novelty: a system designed for the lifting and transport of bedridden and restricted-mobility individuals is disclosed. Technical features: being small in dimension, the invention allows the entry into difficult-to-access spaces, into small spaces and through doors. It is extremely stable due to the addition of an extra foldable support base; it allows the transport of bedridden and reduced-mobility individuals by mere change of the distal member of the articulated lifting arm or by mere change of the accessories to be added at this member; it enables the automatic adaptation of the dimensions of its sections to the body’s constitution for more comfortable and secure transport with no use of a specialized lifting and transport system. Embodiment: the invention is suitable for domestic and hospital use.
