The present invention provides a device capable of realizing data communication with a seafloor heat flow measurement unit, comprising a placement bracket and a portable signal transmission device, wherein the placement bracket comprises a support unit and a placement unit, the placement unit comprises at least one set of measurement unit receptacle, and each set of the measurement unit receptacle comprises a pair of elongated electrode holders in parallel, with one electrode holder provided with at least two positive electrode joints and the other electrode holder provided with negative electrode joints in one-to-one correspondence to the positive electrode joints in terms of number and position; and the portable signal transmission device is used for pre-work parameter setting and post-work data reading and storage for the seafloor heat flow measurement unit, and two paths of wires are drawn out from the portable signal transmission device to be connected with two electrodes of the measurement unit receptacles according to a conventional method. The present invention overcomes the difficulty of data reading where the ocean detection devices require parameter setting and data reading in a laboratory on a research vessel before and after measurement. The present invention provides a method applied to on-site parameter setting and data reading of seafloor heat flow detection work and a special device thereof from the standpoints of the particularity of ocean detection as well as the safety, high efficiency and convenience of actual offshore work, wherein the method and the special device thereof can be used to perform pre-work parameter setting and post-work data reading and storage on a detection device on a work deck directly, and the time and labor cost used for data transmission are reduced in an efficient and convenient data reading manner, thereby increasing the whole efficiency of the detection experiment.
