The present invention overcomes the difficulty of data reading where the ocean detection devices require parameter setting and data reading in a laboratory on a research vessel before and after measurement. The present invention provides a method applied to on-site parameter setting and data reading of seafloor heat flow detection work and a special device thereof from the standpoints of the particularity of ocean detection as well as the safety, high efficiency and convenience of actual offshore work, wherein the method and the special device thereof can be used to perform pre-work parameter setting and post-work data reading and storage on a detection device on a work deck directly, and the time and labor cost used for data transmission are reduced in an efficient and convenient data reading manner, thereby increasing the whole efficiency of the detection experiment.
