The notification concerns a composition containing the I-methylcyclopropene complex with alpha-cyclodextrin, polymer or copolymer and solvent. In addition, the notification concerns the use of this composition i n the form of a label containing this composition, the way in which the label is obtained, and the way in which the durability of plants is prolonged and the ripening of vegetables and fruits is delayed.
