The mechanism of connecting / disconnecting modular platforms is designed so that the modular platform (2) has two adjacent passive sides (P), where in each passive side (P) two passive mounts (3p) are fixed at the edges, while the modular platform (2) ) also has two adjacent active sides (A), wherein in each active side (A), two pivotable active handles (3a) are attached at its edges. In the center of each active side (A) there is a servomotor (5) whose output member (6) is connected by mechanical interconnections (8) to two rotatable active grips (3a). The passive mounts (3p) are pins. Part of the passive side (P) of the modular platform (2) is an asymmetric one-way recess (1). The pivoting active grips (3a) of the active side (A) of the modular platform (2) are levers. The mechanical connections (8) of the output member (6) of the servomotor (5) with the two rotatable active grips (3a) are rods.
