A rectifier and regulator device (10) comprising: a source terminal for receiving a three-phase alternating current voltage, each phase including a positive cycle and a negative cycle of a generating device (20); a plurality of a first rectification unit (16) with a first gate terminal, connected to said generating device (20) to rectify the positive cycle of said three-phase alternating current voltage; a plurality of a second rectification unit (18) with a second gate terminal, said second rectification unit (18) connected to said generating device (20) to rectify the negative cycle of said three-phase alternating current voltage, wherein said second rectification unit (18) switches between the rectification mode and the bypass mode depending on a load condition; and a control unit (80) configured to control said second rectification unit by means of a gate control signal, said control unit (80) emits said gate control signal based on an output voltage (76) of said device rectifier and regulator (10) with respect to any one of a first predefined voltage (72) in the connected battery condition and a third predefined voltage (78) in the batteryless condition and said positive cycle and said negative cycle of each phase of said three-phase alternating current voltage of said generating device (20), said gate control signal allows said second rectification unit (18) to switch between rectification mode and bypass mode by controlling the second gate terminal of said second rectification unit (18), wherein said gate control signal switches said second rectification unit (18) to the mode of bypass when the output voltage (76) of said rectifier and regulator device (10) is greater than any one of said first predefined voltage (72) in the connected battery condition and said third predefined voltage (78) in the batteryless condition , and thus continue with the derivation of said second rectification unit (18), provided that said positive cycle of the corresponding phase of said three-phase alternating current voltage exists.
