The claims of the present application are directed to an adjustable junctionbox. Thetechnical problem the adjustable junction box seeks to solve is positioningthe front of thejunction box flush with a surface in which the junction box is mounted. Inorder toovercome this problem, the adjustable junction box is provided with a backpanel having aplurality of adjustment nuts and posts, and an interior cover plate that ismoveable throughuse of adjustment screws. In this manner, it is possible to both position thefront edges ofthe junction box flush with the surface in which it is mounted, and positionany front facethat may be mounted on the junction box flush with the surface in which thejunction boxis mounted.
