The invention relates to a molecular label for the identification of a sample to be analysed, consisting of a composite nucleic acid, different from a nucleic acid likely to be contained in said sample, the composite nucleic acid having the following formula (I): 5'-[GENOM1]-[ID]-[GENOM2]-3'(I), in which: - [GENOM1] designates a polynucleotide sequence included in a genomic polynucleotide of formula 5'-[GENOM1]-[GENOM2]-3'(II), likely to be present in a sample to be analysed, - [GENOM2] designates a polynucleotide sequence included in said genomic polynucleotide of formula (II), and - [ID] designates an identification polynucleotide sequence having a length varying from 4 to 10 nucleotides.
