A fixed-wing aircraft capable of taking off and landing vertically, and a flight control method therefor. The fixed-wing aircraft comprises an aircraft body (10). An opening which is communicated with the storage space (13) is provided on the aircraft body (10). The aircraft body (10) is also provided with a movable door (14). The movable door (14) corresponds to the position of the opening. The aircraft body (10) is internally provided with a folding/unfolding supporting mechanism and a folding/unfolding driving mechanism (30) for driving the folding/unfolding supporting mechanism to fold or unfold. A vertical lifter (40) is mounted at an outer end of the folding/unfolding supporting mechanism. The fixed-wing aircraft has an unfolded state and a folded state. In the unfolded state, the movable door (14) opens the storage space (13), and the vertical lifter (40) is located outside the storage space (13) under the effect of the folding/unfolding supporting mechanism; and in the folded state, the vertical lifter (40) is located in the storage space (13) under the effect of the folding/unfolding supporting mechanism, and the movable door (14) closes the storage space (13). The fixed-wing aircraft can fly according to a high-speed cruise mode and can also fly according to a vertical taking-off and landing mode, and a working state with highest energy efficiency can be achieved in both modes.
