The invention relates to a multimedia device for displaying and processing condolences, offerings and advertising at funerals, consisting of a cabinet- or frame-type structure (1) housing a plurality of multimedia display devices, with a data and communication processing device. The multimedia device of the invention is characterised in that the frame (1) is supported by a plinth (2) and can be placed in a visitation or wake room as part of a funeral service in a funeral home, and the multimedia elements comprise at least the following: a main display screen (3); a sound-emitting device with loudspeakers (4); an inner processor provided with communication ports, as well as with internet and smart phones using short-range wireless communication technology for the purpose of communicating data, and for controlling the device when it is being used remotely rather than by means of a control panel.
