An antenna which is provided with: a first power supply part; a second power supply part; and a loop element which has one end connected to the first power supply part, while having the other end connected to the second power supply part. This antenna is configured such that: the loop element has a first element part and a second element part, which face each other in the vertical direction when the antenna is viewed from a direction that is parallel to the horizontal plane; a first gap is provided at the midpoint of the first element part; and a second gap is provided at the midpoint of the second element part.
