The present invention addresses the problem of providing a filtering medium, for a filter, which has high efficiency at dust collection, little pressure loss, a long service life, and sufficient processing strength for a filter. The mixed-fiber nonwoven fabric according to the present invention comprises first fibers having an average fiber diameter of less than 200 nm and second fibers having an average fiber diameter falling within a range of 200-5000 nm, wherein the mixed-fiber nonwoven fabric has a base weight that falls within a range of 2.5-15.0 g/m².
