The first problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a composition which can yield a cured product (a thermally conductive material) with excellent thermal conductivity. The second problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a thermally conductive material formed from said composition, and a device having a thermal conduction layer. Further, the third problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a method of producing the thermally conductive material which uses said composition. This composition contains a curing agent that contains an active hydrogen-containing functional group, and a main agent that contains a reactive group that reacts with the aforementioned active hydrogen-containing functional group, wherein the main ingredient and the curing agent each separately exhibits liquid crystallinity at temperatures less than or equal to 150°C.
