The invention relates to a network adapter (11), more particularly a CAN-WLAN bridge, for connecting a vehicle bus system (10) in a vehicle, such as in particular a heavy goods vehicle or bus, to a network, wherein a bus interface for establishing the connection to the vehicle bus system (10) and at least one network interface for connecting to a network are provided. The network adapter is characterized in that at least one web page is provided for accessing and/or for monitoring and/or controlling at least one function of the motor vehicle. The invention additionally relates to a vehicle bus system and a method for accessing functions of a motor vehicle via a network.
