Provided are: an easily controllable defibrillation catheter system that makes it possible to observe intracardiac potential during defibrillation in the same manner as during intracardiac electrocardiographic measurement; a defibrillation power source device; and a control method for the defibrillation power source device. This defibrillation catheter system 1 has: a catheter 20 that extends in a distal-proximal direction; a power source part 6 that is connected to the catheter 20 and generates applied voltage; and an electrocardiometer 40 that measures intracardiac potential. A first electrode 21 and a second electrode 22 that is arranged further to the proximal side than the first electrode 21 are provided to the distal side of the catheter 20 of the defibrillation catheter system 1. A switching part 7 that switches between a first mode that is for measuring intracardiac potential and a second mode that is for applying voltage while measuring intracardiac potential is connected to the power source part 6. The first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are connected to the power source part 6 via the switching part 7. The first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are connected to the electrocardiometer 40 without a switch part therebetween.
