Provided are: an easily controllable defibrillation catheter system that makes it possible to observe intracardiac potential during defibrillation in the same manner as during intracardiac electrocardiographic measurement; a defibrillation power source device; and a control method for the defibrillation power source device. A defibrillation catheter system 1 that has: a catheter 20 that extends in a distal-proximal direction; a first power source part 6A and a second power source part 6B that are connected to the catheter 20 and generate applied voltage; and an electrocardiometer 40 that measures intracardiac potential. A first electrode group 21 that includes at least a 1-1 electrode 21A and a 1-2 electrode 21B and a second electrode group 22 that includes at least a 2-1 electrode 22A and a 2-2 electrode 22B and is arranged further to the proximal side than the first electrode group 21 are provided to the distal side of the catheter 20. The first electrode group 21 and the second electrode group 22 are connected to the electrocardiometer 40 without a switch part therebetween. The 1-1 electrode 21A and the 2-1 electrode 22A are connected to the first power source part 6A, and the 1-2 electrode 21B and the 2-2 electrode 22B are connected to the second power source part 6B.
