An unmanned aircraft system comprises at least one aircraft (2), in particular drone, and at least one base station (3) for parking said aircraft (2). The aircraft (2) has a main body (8) having a landing gear (11) arranged thereon, said landing gear corresponding to a parking area (4) of the base station (3). The parking area (4) of the base station (3) comprises centering means (6) and the landing gear (11) of the aircraft (2) and the centering means (6) of the base station (3) are configured such that, when the aircraft (2) is parked in the parking area (4) of the base station (3), the centering means (6) is at least partly accommodated between elements of the landing gear (11) and/or the landing gear (11) is at least partly accommodated inside the centering means (6).
