The present invention relates to a grounding switch for a gas insulated switchgear (GIS) with a grounding safety measurement function, and more particularly, to a grounding switch for a GIS with a grounding safety measurement function, in which a grounding resistance measurement unit for measuring a grounding resistance of a grounding system and a contact state sensing unit for sensing a contact state of an electrode are further included, so that safety of an operator is guaranteed, and a failure and an accident of a power system are prevented from occurring. A technical idea of the present invention is to provide the grounding switch for the GIS with the grounding safety measurement function, including: an opening/closing operation unit for controlling electrical connection between a movable electrode connected to a grounding system and a fixed electrode connected to a power line so as to ground the power line or release the grounding of the power line; a grounding resistance measurement unit connected to the grounding system to measure a grounding resistance of the grounding system; and a control unit for controlling operations of the opening/closing operation unit and the grounding resistance measurement unit.
