The objective of the present invention is to provide an intelligent apparatus for recognizing a car number in a CCTV through a triangular three-channel laser detection module and a smart car number recognition control unit and a method thereof. The apparatus comprises a triangular three-channel laser detection module (100) and an intelligent CCTV module (200), thereby providing excellent compatibility and being advantageous in selecting an installation place as the apparatus can be easily installed by only additionally installing the triangular three-channel laser detection module and a smart car number recognition control unit in a CCTV installed before.
