The present invention provides a method and an electronic apparatus for detecting the stride length and walking path of a pedestrian. The method for detecting the stride length of the pedestrian according to the present invention includes: a step of detecting the maximum value of longitudinal acceleration data; a step of acquiring deviation data in a vertical direction by an integration result at the same time while performing integration twice in longitudinal acceleration data between two adjacent maximum values; and a step of obtaining the length of the stride by the deviation in the longitudinal direction, the stride length and the foot size of the pedestrian. The method and the electronic apparatus for detecting the stride length and walking path of the pedestrian according to the present invention can improve the accuracy of the positioning of the pedestrian and realize cost reduction.
