According to the present invention, the present invention relates to a relay control apparatus which controls a relay which changes electrical connection between a battery provided in a vehicle and an output terminal of the battery. The relay control apparatus comprises: a detection unit outputting a shock detection signal when the shock is applied to the vehicle; and a control unit outputting a relay off signal, which changes the relay in an off state, corresponding to reception of the shock detection signal and outputting the relay off signal corresponding to a predetermined control cycle.
