A method and a server apparatus for providing a 360-degree image live streaming service are disclosed. According to an aspect of the present invention, the method for providing a 360-degree image live streaming service for inserting advertisement information into a 360-degree live image in real time to provide an advertisement to a user terminal, comprises the processes of: receiving a 360-degree live image photographed by including a marker; generating a three-dimensional image by mapping the 360-degree live image onto a three-dimensional model; extracting the marker from the three-dimensional image and generating marker information including position information of the marker; inserting advertisement information corresponding to the marker information to the 360-dgree live image; and transmitting, to the user terminal, the 360-degree live image into which the advertisement information is inserted.
