Techniques for determining items with identified characteristics

In various exemplary embodiments, a system and method for determining items with identified characteristics is described herein. An image depicting the object is received from the client device. Structured data corresponding to the characteristics of one or more items is retrieved. A property set is determined, which is expected to match the object. An interface is generated that includes a request for confirmation of the property set. This interface is displayed on the client device. Confirmation is received from the client device that at least one property from the property set matches the object depicted in the image.
