Behavior data associated with the user is obtained. Behavior data is generated when a user uses the Internet service, and includes identification information indicating the Internet service, and a user identifier. Based on the identification information associated with the Internet service, at least one predefined carbon savings quantification algorithm is determined. Based on the obtained behavior data and at least one predefined carbon savings quantification algorithm determined, a carbon savings amount associated with the user is calculated. Based on the calculated carbon savings associated with the user, and the user identifier, the user data is processed. The user data relates to the amount of carbon savings associated with the user.
