The present invention relates to a geographic information system for blocking and providing energy data, and a method for providing an analysis result using the same. The geographic information system of the present invention comprises: an information collecting module for collecting a predefined address, location coordinate information on a map, energy data for each address, population census information including population living in each address, and business information including an industrial classification code for each address; a basic block generating module for generating a block of a predetermined reference unit by using building coordinate information that the address is converted into a location coordinate on the basis of information collected by the information collecting module, and combining the energy data of the address with the generated block to generate a basic block; an information input module for receiving an analysis condition of the energy data to be analyzed; an energy data management module for selecting basic blocks located at coordinates of a region to be analyzed, included in the analysis condition of the energy data among the basic blocks generated by the basic block generating module, as a target basic block, grouping the number of building coordinates having the energy data for each selected target basic block in accordance with a preset energy evaluation criterion to assign an energy block ID; and a providing module for providing an analysis result that the energy data is analyzed for each assigned energy block ID. Accordingly, the energy consumption is can be visualized in a GIS by satisfying various energy analysis conditions.
