According to the present invention, disclosed is a method for constructing an eco-friendly rainwater storage planting ground, which comprises the steps of: a) creating a planting ground (10) in which a plant (60) can be grown; b) planting a plurality of plants (60) on the planting ground (10); c) forming a rainwater storage pit (20) on the planting ground (10) where the plant (60) is planted; and d) charging a filler (30) to form a pore (40) in the rainwater storage pit (20). According to the present invention, rainwater is drained through the rainwater storage pit not to waste water by flowing on a surface, missing rainwater can be usefully recycled. Also, the moisture content in deep soil is increased to allow a root to be vertically and deeply extended, soil air becomes abundant, aerobic microorganisms proliferates, the root is horizontally extended, a soil improvement effect of underground soil is provided, and watering can be performed even without burrowing a separate water housing or pit during a drought.
