The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing ginseng having enhanced contents of protopanaxadiol, which is a kind of ginseng saponin, and chlorogenic acid, which is a phenolic compound. By cultivating ginseng through LED irradiation, ginseng with increased amount of protopanaxadiol among ginseng saponin and chlorogenic acid among phenol compounds can be grown in a short period.
