A system for warning of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle based on pedestrian conditions, using a camera mounted on the vehicle, comprises: a memory in which a program for performing a method for warning of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle based on pedestrian conditions is recorded; and a processor executing the program. The processor extracts driving environment information including the pedestrian and road by analyzing the driving image input from the camera through an image recognition module of the program, detects, by using the driving environment information, a road area and a pedestrian area, a pedestrian distance according to the degree of a spacing between the vehicle and the pedestrian, an image vanishing point, the pedestrian direction, and pedestrian candidates according to the degree of association with vehicle driving, recognizes the behavior of the pedestrian based on the detected pedestrian candidates through a risk analysis module of the program, analyzes pedestrian behavior information, relative direction information between the pedestrian and the vehicle, and the driving area of the vehicle and evaluates the degree of risk for each pedestrian based on the analyzed result. Thus, a collision prevention function for a pedestrian can be effectively performed.
