The present invention relates to a photochromic pigment, an ultraviolet discoloration nail polish using the same, and a production method thereof and, more particularly, to a photochromic pigment with excellent color development and expressing various colors in comparison with a conventional photochromic pigment, an ultraviolet discoloration nail polish using the photochromic pigment, which produces the nail polish whose color is changed by ultraviolet light by mixing the photochromic pigment and a nail polish base having excellent effects such as moisturizing, skin protection, and nourishment, and a production method thereof. The photochromic pigment comprises: 20 to 30 wt% of a melamine copolymer; 5 to 10 wt% of styrene; 45 to 50 wt% of oil wax; 10 to 15 wt% of antioxidant; and 1 to 12 wt% of a photochromic dye.
