The present invention relates to a method for producing a Malpighia emarginata fruit extract with less destruction of useful components and a cosmetic composition containing the extract produced thereby. In the present invention, it has been confirmed that when a novel nitrogen injection extraction process is employed, it is possible to produce a Malpighia emarginata fruit extract having excellent antioxidant ability because the breakdown of useful components, especially vitamin C, in the extract of the Malpighia emarginata fruit is low. Therefore, the Malpighia emarginata fruit extract according to the nitrogen injection extraction process of the present invention shows excellent skin aging prevention effect, wrinkle formation prevention effect, whitening effect, and anti-inflammation (skin irritation soothing) effect.
