The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition against pathogenic bacteria containing a Fragaria ananassa extract or a fraction thereof as an active ingredient. More specifically, the antimicrobial composition against pathogenic bacteria according to the present invention can be very useful in medicines, quasi-drugs, food additives, feed additives and the like since a Fragaria ananassa leaf extract and a traction thereof exhibit excellent antimicrobial activities against pathogenic bacteria including Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli, Enterobacter cloacae, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
