The present invention relates to hydrogels for artificial skin with controlled mechanical strength and a method for producing the same. More particularly, hydrogels exhibiting porosity by continuous crosslinking of collagen and monomers can control mechanical strength through the concentration control of the monomers, and the regulated mechanical properties of the hydrogels have been confirmed to be cell physiological regulators important in growth, proliferation and activity of cells, thus collagen gels in which collagen and monomers are crosslinked of the present invention can be provided as age-specific artificial skin of varying strength.
