An object recognition apparatus is disclosed. The object recognition apparatus comprises: a camera module for photographing an object in the front to generate stereoscopic data and depth data; a UWB module for outputting a first UWB signal to the object, receiving and processing a second UWB signal reflected from the object, and generating a third UWB signal; and a CPU using the stereoscopic data to determine a first identity of the object, using the depth data to calculate a first distance from the object recognition apparatus to the object, using the third UWB signal to determine a second identity of the object, determining whether the first identity and the second identity are same, correcting the first identity to the second identity when the first identity and the second identity are different, and outputting a determination signal corresponding to the corrected second identity.
