Diphlorethohydroxycarmalol DPHC Composition Containning Diphlorethohydroxycarmalol for Improvement of Exercise Performance

The present invention provides a composition containing diphlorethohydroxycarmalol (DPHC) for improvement of exercise performance. The DPHC promotes absorption in a cell of a calcium ion required for contracting muscle and improving exercise performance in an in vitro experiment using C2C12 that is a source cell divided for 5 days, and induces glucose that is an energy source required for muscle contraction to be absorbed. Moreover, in an animal experiment using zebrafish, concentration of a calcium ion in a cell is increased, and inducement of an inflow of glucose in the cell is activated.
