HER2 -HER2 BIOMARKER FOR HER2 POSITIVE CANCER AND ANTI-HER2 THERAPY AND USE THEREOF

The present invention provides human epidermal growth factor receptor2 (HER2) positive cancers and MEL-18, a biomarker for anti-HER2 therapy, and uses thereof. According to the present invention, MEL-18 can be used for the combined diagnosis of HER2-targeted therapies of HER2 + cancers as prognostic and predictive factors for the response of an individual to an anti-HER2 target therapeutic in HER2 + 17 inhibitor or combination therapy with a HER2 target treatment to overcome the resistance to HER2 treatment and improve the therapeutic efficacy, thereby enabling treatment of HER2 positive cancer more effectively.
