A water intake assembly 105 that can be suspended from the offshore structure 102 is proposed. The withdrawal assembly has at least a first tubular conduit 106A and a second tubular conduit 106B bundle 106 extending generally along the length. At least a portion of the distal portion 109 of the first tubular conduit extends further in the longitudinal direction than the second tubular conduit when in a fully suspended state. Described applications of such an intake riser assembly include a method of producing a liquefied hydrocarbon stream and a method of producing a vaporous hydrocarbon stream.
