The present invention relates to an SNP marker for screening ChiVMV-resistant Capsicum annuum species and uses thereof. By using a molecular marker related to a ChiVMV-resistant gene developed in the present invention, it is possible to reduce efforts, time, and cost required to carry out a progeny test for every generation for breeding ChiVMV-resistant species, thereby enabling ChiVMV-resistant species to be bred more accurately and quickly and to be used industrially.
