The present invention provides a self-supported earth retaining temporary structure and a construction method thereof. The self-supported earth retaining temporary structure includes: piles; reinforcing frames installed on back surfaces of each pile in a longitudinal direction of the piles; earth plates supporting back surface soil at the back surfaces of the reinforcing frames; and tensile force introducing units introducing tensile force to each back portion of the piles to prevent front displacement of the pile by a weight of the back surface soil.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
