The present invention provides a hydraulic control method of a 2-1 shift in a multi-stage automatic transmission vehicle before a stop. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the hydraulic control method of a 2-1 shift in a multi-stage automatic transmission vehicle before a stop draws an optimal shift control method in accordance with an operation condition in case of hydraulic control of a 2-1 shift before a stop. Therefore, a control method and an apparatus for a 2-1shift in a multi-stage automatic transmission vehicle before a stop can prevent a shift delay generated in shift control, a delay feeling when a vehicle restarts during a stop, and a shift shock.
