METHOD FOR DETECTION OF INOPERABLE PHOTODIODES WITH IMPROVED INTERCONNECTION IN MATRIX PHOTODETECTORS OF IR-RANGE SPECTRUM

FIELD: instrument engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical instrumentation and relates to a method for detecting inoperative photodiodes with increased interconnection in a matrix photodetector device (MPDD) of the IR spectral range. Method includes the illumination of the MPDD from a standard emitter in the form of a point or extended act and measuring the output signals of the MPDD at three levels of constant uniform illumination F₁, F₂ and F₃ (F₁F₂F₃). Calculate the two-point correction coefficients FS_ij and K_ij based on output signals from the illumination F₁ and F₃,apply them to the illumination signals F₂ and get the corrected signals from the illumination of F₂: U_ij^corr(F₂)=(U_ij(F₂)-FS_ij)∙K_ij. Photodiode is recognized as a photodiode with increased coupling if the condition is satisfied: |U_ij^corr(F₂)-U_ij^med(F₂)|U_dmax where U_ij^med(F₂) – the median value of the signal from the corrected illumination F₂ in area 5×5 elements with center in (i, j), U_dmax – criterion determined for each type of MPDD individually.;EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of detecting defective photodiodes with an increased interconnection in an MPDD.;1 cl, 4 dwg
