Reinforcement welded to a pick-up bed floor comprises a panel having a central section defining an opening for receiving a gooseneck receptacle, a right section and a left section. Panel includes a plurality of transversely extending stiffening ribs spaced from the floor in the right and left sections, and contacting the floor in the central section.
