FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of large diameter pipes bending in field conditions, and can be used both during construction and during the overhaul of pipelines. Large diameter pipes bending method in field conditions using the horizontal directional drilling installation involves the pipe bending using the horizontal drilling installation, its longitudinally moving carriage by means of the drill string connected to the driving the bending punches moving power wedge. Power wedge, bending punches, their guide rollers, thrust rollers are placed on the bending device bed, and the pipe bending angle is controlled by the power wedge linear displacement relative to the zero mark on the bending device bed.;EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the productivity and the pipes bending in the field conditions implementation.;1 cl, 1 dwg
