Textile vascular prosthesis (1) with a circumferential pleating formed by pleats (4) and an arcuate longitudinal bend (2) formed at least over a partial section by asymmetrical shortening gathering of the prosthesis wall by at least one longitudinal seam (7; 9; 10; 11) extending along the partial section wherein the at least one longitudinal seam (7; 9; 10; 11) gathers the prosthesis wall to obtain the bellows-like structure (4) and longitudinally compacted state of the pleating (4), characterized in that per stitch (suture) of the suture two to four pleats are completely wrapped in a compacted state.
